Bobbi Sheets served in the United States Air Force for 13 years as a C-141B Airdrop Instructor Loadmaster where she accumulated 3500 flight hours.  She was stationed at McGuire AFB, NJ (1988-1995) and Altus AFB, OK (1995-2000).  She joined the VFW after Panama in 1990 at Post 6590 and is currently a Silver Legacy Member at Post 6365 in Locust, NC, where she has been Post Commander since 2016.  In 2017-2019, the post held All-State Honors and most recently made All- American for the first time since it was chartered.  The post also had the highest percentage of growth in the state of  NC.  Bobbi was Quartermaster/Adjutant in 2017 and Quartermaster in 2018.  District 12 has made All-American for two years straight.  Bobbi is married to Dave Sheets who is also a Silver Legacy member and has been a VFW member since 1984.
