The Department of North Carolina VFW Military Sexual Trauma Committee has been established to advocate, educate, and provide a voice to survivors of Military Sexual Trauma in our ranks. We aim to provide a respectful and safe environment for all Veterans, regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation to apply for mental health care and Veterans benefits by establishing a network of advocates at the District and Post levels. Our mission is to aid in supporting survivors throughout the process.
