Scott Seddon
District 1 Commander -

Scott Seddon began his service the United States Navy in January 1990.  He served as an Electrician's Mate Chief for his enlisted career until he was selected into the Limited Duty Officer program, in 2003 and retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 2015.  Scott served on three Submarines and three Aircraft Carriers.  He finished his career onboard USS Eisenhower CVN-69 as the Reactor Mechanical Assistant.  During his career he qualified as Officer of the Deck, Engineering Officer of the Watch, Surface Warfare Officer and Submarine Warfare Enlisted.  His awards include five Navy Commendation Medals, four Navy Achievement Medals, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and completed seven deterrent war patrols.
 
Scott is a past five time Commander of VFW Post 4411 (Virginia) and VFW Post 6060 (NC).  He is a three time All-American Post Commander.  He also served as Department of NC Inspector (2019-2020) and is currently the Department of North Carolina Programs Coordinator and VOD chairman.  He has also been appointed as National Aide De Camp (2x) and National Deputy Chief of Staff (2024-2025).
 
Scott currently works for NAVSEA of the Department of the Navy, as Deputy Repair Officer, in-service submarine repair at Supervisor of Shipbuilding Newport News.  Scott is married to his beautiful wife Amy and together they have three fantastic children and two fur babies.
